About Me…

I am Sue France, A wife and a mother and a grandma and I am 73

BUT I ALSO RUN NETWORKING EVENTS!

My first career was as a childrenswear designer and in latter years I was head of marketing and PR for a group of Yorkshire Hotels.

I retired in 2014 from running Forward ladies networking in Cheshire, Manchester and Merseyside. The ladies bombarded me with requests to start my own events which I now run every month including an annual Literary Lunch. The Literary lunch has inspired lots of people to write books and connected them with those who could help them do so. I feature published authors and I invite book editors and make the attendees feel that anything is possible.

During lockdown all my events were held virtually online but now they are back to face to face

I take particular care in matching businesses and introducing people to the most beneficial connections and I have helped hundreds of businesses grow by doing this

One of my specialities is finding brilliant speakers for my events. I choose carefully so my attendees are always entertained as well as educated. At first I was very shy about speaking myself in public but now I actually give talks on how to network without fear. I have spoken on this at such various conferences such as Costa Women on International Women’s Day in Marbella and “Women in Law” in Manchester. I also give talks to other groups

I am Patron of the charity “Gift of a Wedding” which helps terminally ill people marry and create wonderful memories at a very sad time. This came about after I had to put my terminally ill daughter’s wedding together in three weeks in 2001. I met the founder of the charity at one of my events years later and she asked me to be involved.

I look forward to getting to meet you at one of my events very soon.
